The Eye of Horus is the all seeing eye.  Horus was one of the most popular Egyptian gods.  He represents the entirety of the heavens the sun and the moon and is able to see all.  It is also used as the Eye of the Providence, a symbol of strength and power.

It is also thought that the Eye of Horus could represent our Third Eye, sixth chakra, or the pineal gland. Many believe that one can see and know all through accessing this gland.
